Petrol and Oil Prices
By tracking the price of both petrol and oil you can see that there is a clear correlation between the two. With oil above $110 a barrel we only have expensive fuel to look forward to. If oil does drop below the $80 mark then we can expect to see Unleaded fuel drop bewlow £1/litre again. If it doesn't.... well someone will be making a huge profit...

Current Diesel Prices and changes from 1 week ago
- Scotland (highlands) – 121.8p up 2.6p/litre
- Scotland (lowlands) – 119.2 up 2.4p/litre
- Wales – 119.4p/litre, up 0.6p/litre
- England – 119.3p up 0.5p/litre
We can look at the current price of fuel in any area as well as seeing how prices have changed in the last 12 months. Examples include:
Kidderminster - up 8.6p
York - up 11.8p
Coventry - up 13.3p
Glasgow - up 14.6p
Sheffield - up 14.8p

The gaph below gives a snapshot of last weeks fuel prices at some random locations in the UK There is a 3.7p difference between the cheapest place (Worksop at 103.8p/litre) and the most expensive (Cambridge at 107.5p/litre). Note that this is just a random selection and there will definately be other areas showing an even bigger price difference.
